Who we are

Ohvii LLC operates Swapii, a service for sharing and coordinating clothes with friends. This policy explains how we handle personal information on https://swapii.app and in the Swapii app, including any prerelease access. Swapii is currently launching soon; app-related sections apply when you use the app.

What we collect

• Account and profile information: your account identifier, email address, sign-in provider information, verified phone number if used for sign-in, display name, profile details and preferences you provide.
• Your closet and content: photos, clothing details such as sizes, outfits, suggestions, messages, feedback, and other content you choose to add.
• Sharing and activity: friendships, group membership, sharing permissions, plans, invitations, borrowing requests, handoffs, returns, swaps and gifts. Plans can include dates and locations that you enter.
• Device and service information: notification tokens and preferences when you enable notifications, account and request identifiers, IP addresses and technical logs used to deliver and protect the service.
• Support correspondence: your email address and the information you send when you contact us.

The launch website has no account form, mailing list, advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes connection information, such as IP addresses and requested URLs, to serve and secure the website. Emailing us sends information through your email provider and ours.

Why we use it

We use information to create and secure accounts; store your closet and content; apply your sharing choices; connect you with friends; coordinate outfits, loans and transfers; send service notifications you enable; answer support requests; and prevent abuse or resolve disputes.

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You can withdraw consent for optional device permissions in your device settings.

Who can see it

Your sharing settings and the actions you take determine which friends or group members can access your content. Information needed for a shared plan, message, loan or transfer is visible to the people involved. Recipients may keep their own copies, including screenshots; changing access cannot retrieve copies already made outside Swapii.

We use service providers to operate Swapii: Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, media storage and backend processing; Apple or Google when you choose their sign-in options; Expo and platform notification services to deliver enabled push notifications; and Vercel to host this website. Providers process information necessary for their services under their applicable terms and data protection arrangements.

We may disclose information to comply with law, protect people and the service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of our business, subject to applicable protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your permissions

Photo-library and camera access let you choose or take photos for your closet and outfits. Push-notification permission lets us send updates. You can decline these permissions or change them in your device settings; related features may then be unavailable. This website does not request camera, microphone or location access.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account information and content for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your chosen records, meet legal requirements, and protect against abuse. Retention depends on the type of record, your account status, outstanding sharing commitments, legal obligations and security needs.

You can request deletion using the app’s account settings or contact hi@swapii.app. The deletion flow explains any cancellation window. Account deletion removes your profile, closet media and personal account data through the deletion process. Limited handoff, return, transfer, security or legally required records may remain where necessary. Deleting an account does not return a borrowed item or complete a swap. Copies held by other people are outside our control.

See account deletion and data requests for instructions. We assess any information that must be retained against its purpose and applicable obligations; we do not promise immediate erasure of every record or backup.

Your choices and rights

You can manage closet access, change profile information, block people and adjust notification preferences in the app. Account settings also provide data export and account deletion in supported prerelease versions.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about your request. Contact hi@swapii.app to exercise applicable rights, including if you cannot access your account. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Security and international processing

We use access controls and other technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Our service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards apply to international transfers.

Children’s privacy

Swapii is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact hi@swapii.app so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Swapii develops. We will update the date on this page and provide any additional notice or consent process required for material changes.
